DIY Sweet and Salty Valentine’s Snack Board

DIY Sweet and Salty Valentine’s Snack Board

Pipcorn | February 14

Happy Valentine’s Day, friends! Today we celebrate love—love for your sweetheart, your family, your friends and yourself! And one of the ways we like to do that is by eating and sharing food that makes us happy—in all senses of the word. That means it’s got to taste amazing and can't leave us filled with guilt or regrets after we're done indulging.

So we made this “charcuterie” board with our favorite sweet and salty “better-for-you-snacks” (and a few not-better-for-you-snacks, because Valentine’s Day).

Isn’t it gorgeous? 😍 We're so impressed with how it turned out, and it was honesty super easy to make. Here's what we did.

Step 1

Pick up your favorite fruits and some sweet and salty snacks.

We used:

  • Strawberries
  • Sea Salt Heirloom Popcorn
  • Skinny Dipped chocolate-covered almonds
  • Figs
  • Glutino yogurt pretzels
  • Red currants
  • Sweet Smarts gummy bears
  • Sea Salt Heirloom Corn Dippers
  • Red and pink M&Ms
  • Pink rock candy
  • Raw honey comb
  • Justin’s organic peanut butter cups
  • Caramel Heirloom Popcorn
  • Heart-shaped jelly beans
  • Cinnamon candy hearts
  • Red licorice
  • Passion fruit

Step 2

Get out your favorite wooden cutting board.

Step 3

Pile everything into sections, starting with bigger items like the strawberries and corn dippers, until all the space is filled in and treats are overlapping and hanging off the edges of the board. It should look extravagant, and not too neat.

Step 4

Invite everyone you love over to enjoy it with you while you hang out. Watch movies, play games, chat—just be together!
